How to read our signals
Everything you see on NIYEY Trading and in our Telegram channel, explained in plain words.
1Start here
The 30-second version. Niyey Trading AI checks gold every hour, code checks every idea against strict risk rules, and only ideas that pass become signals.
Watch the status
The status at the top of the dashboard tells you if anything is happening right now.
Read the signal
A signal gives you a direction, an entry, a Stop Loss, a Take Profit and a time limit.
Check the result
Every signal is scored automatically in R after costs, wins and losses alike.
2Signal status
The status updates every minute. It is the fastest way to know what Niyey Trading AI is doing.
Nothing close
No setup is forming. This is normal most hours.
Nothing to do.
A setup may be forming
Price is near an important level, a Sweep just happened, or the AI is watching a level.
Get ready, but do not trade yet.
A signal is open
An idea passed every risk check and is now active, with Entry, Stop Loss and Take Profit.
Read the signal card before acting.
Limit order waiting
The signal uses a Limit entry. It only becomes active if price pulls back to the entry before it expires.
No entry until price reaches the Limit.
High-impact release nearby
New ideas pause 30 minutes before and after US data such as CPI, NFP, FOMC and PCE.
Expect fast, jumpy prices.
A limit was reached
One idea is already open, the daily limit is reached, or it is Friday evening.
Wait for the next session.
Gold is not trading
Weekends and the daily break. The status shows when the market reopens.
Nothing to do.
Data or AI problem
When data is missing, nothing is published. The system never guesses.
It retries automatically.
3Reading a signal
Every signal has the same parts, on the website and in Telegram. Here is an example with each part numbered.
- 1
Direction
Buy means the idea expects gold to rise. Sell means it expects gold to fall. - 2
Entry
Market means at the current price. Limit means wait for price to pull back to that level first. - 3
Stop Loss
Where the idea is wrong. The loss at this level is 1R. - 4
Take Profit
The target. Reaching it closes the idea as a win. - 5
R:R
Reward compared with risk. 2.00 means the target is twice as far as the Stop Loss. - 6
Valid until
If neither level is hit by then, the idea closes at the market price. - 7
Reasoning
Why the AI took the idea, written by Niyey Trading AI. - 8
What would prove it wrong
The condition that cancels the idea, even before the Stop Loss.
4Telegram messages
Our Telegram channel sends every message in English and Khmer. These are all the types you will see.
Getting ready
A setup may be forming: the AI is watching a level, liquidity was just swept, or price is testing an important level. No signal yet.
Release warning
Sent 25 to 65 minutes before CPI, NFP, FOMC or PCE. New ideas pause around the release.
New Buy signal
A full signal with Entry, Stop Loss, Take Profit, R:R, time limit and reasoning.
New Sell signal
The same parts, for an idea that expects gold to fall.
Take Profit hit
The idea reached its target. The result is shown in R after costs.
Stop Loss hit
The idea was wrong and closed at its Stop Loss, about -1R after costs.
Expired
Time ran out before either level. It closed at the market price, which can be a small win or loss.
Never filled
A Limit entry was never reached, so the idea never started. It does not count as a win or a loss.
5Reading the chart
The dashboard chart shows every timeframe from 1 minute to 1 week. Each drawing can be turned on or off with the buttons above the chart.
Signal boxes
Green is the Take Profit zone, red is the Stop Loss zone, the line between them is the Entry.
Buy-side and Sell-side Liquidity
Stops resting above highs are Buy-side Liquidity. Stops resting below lows are Sell-side Liquidity. Price is often drawn to them.
Sweep
Price pokes through a liquidity level and closes back inside. A Sweep often comes before a reversal.
FVG (Fair Value Gap)
A fast move that left a gap between candles. Price often comes back to fill it.
Sessions
Shaded bands for the Asia, London and New York sessions. The session highs and lows are liquidity too.
Past signals
Earlier signals and how they ended, so you can judge the record yourself.
EMA 20, 50 and 200
Moving averages that show the Trend. Price above them leans up, below them leans down.
Bollinger Bands and VWAP
Bollinger Bands show how stretched price is. VWAP is the average price weighted by Volume.
Volume
How much traded in each candle. Big Volume at a level means it matters.
6Results in R
Results are measured in R instead of dollars, so they mean the same thing whatever size you trade. 1R is the distance from Entry to Stop Loss.
Costs are included
Every result subtracts an assumed spread of 0.30, so a target hit at 2R is recorded as a little less than +2R.
Win Rate is not everything
With 2R targets, winning 4 out of 10 ideas still ends positive: 4 ร 2R minus 6 ร 1R is +2R.
Compared with a Benchmark
The Performance page compares the AI with a simple EMA Trend rule that follows the same risk rules and costs.
7Risk rules
The AI only proposes ideas. Code decides, using these rules, every single time.
- Reward must be at least 1.5 times the riskR:R โฅ 1.5
- Stop Loss not too tight and not too wide0.8 โ 3 ร ATR
- No new ideas around high-impact US dataยฑ 30 min

8Good habits
Wait for the signal
Getting ready is a heads-up, not a trade. Only a published signal has levels.
Respect the Stop Loss
Every signal is planned around its Stop Loss. Moving it changes the whole idea.
Times are in UTC
Cambodia time is UTC + 7. A signal valid until 14:00 UTC is valid until 21:00 in Phnom Penh.
Decide your own risk
Signals are general. Only you know how much you can afford to lose on one trade.
Not financial advice. NIYEY Trading publishes educational analysis. Ideas can and do lose money, and past results do not predict future results.
